It was inevitable that I would do some warcraft fan art. I don't actually play anymore and haven't in a long time, but it's a big inspiration for a lot of ideas that come to mind...

So here is a tribute to my main toon, lol.

Similarly to when something clicked for me with landscapes, I think that happened here as well for characters (it also helps having some reference). I really felt comfortable making this and started to get a process down where I basically knew what I wanted to do and how to try and go about doing it. I also almost drove myself insane doing details and I could have spent even more time on it, but at some point I have to draw the line...so this is done and done.

Also have to say the concept is all Blizzard's. Apologies for the extreme creepiness but well, it's a gnome warlock, so it seemed appropriate.
